Why we developed Mobile Builder
SAP is in the midst of transforming to the cloud. This transformation is fundamentally changing technologies: Fiori, UI5, OData, JavaScript, and cloud architectures are replacing classic ABAP development.
This presents a problem for many experienced process consultants and ABAP developers: they know the processes in detail, but suddenly they are expected to master front-end, integration, and cloud technologies.
The result is longer development cycles, increasing complexity, and high costs. Not because the processes have become more complicated, but because the path to the solution has.
Today, good SAP processes often fail not because of the idea, but because of the implementation.
What we wanted to change
Our goal was to create a tool that would continue to leverage existing process and ABAP knowledge.
A tool that would enable experts to develop modern SAP applications quickly, easily, and efficiently, without having to delve deeply into new front-end and integration technologies.
Instead of building up specialized knowledge in individual minds, we wanted to create a platform that combines knowledge, processes, and implementation.
